The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT), established in 1972 by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, is the world's largest publisher of books on Krishna consciousness and the philosophy, religion, and culture of the Vedic tradition of India. The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust especially emphasizes the works of the Gaudiya-Vaishnava tradition. Its publications include original scriptural works, translated into more than 80 languages, and books that discuss and explain these traditional texts. The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust publishes some of its materials also on CDs and DVDs.

Books by The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust range in complexity from brief, introductory volumes and study guides, summary studies, and short Sanskrit works, all the way up to exhaustive multi-volume translations (with commentaries) of major Sanskrit and Bengali epics.

The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust publishes the Bhagavad-gita, Srimad-Bhagavatam, Isopanisad, Narada-bhakti-sutra, and the Sri Caitanya-caritamrita (from the Gaudiya devotional tradition), and numerous other books. Its latest multi-volume publication is an English translation, with commentary, of Srila Sanatana Goswami's Brihad-bhagavatamrita.

The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust Sweden was founded in 1987. It translates Srila Prabhupada's works into more than 40 languages such as Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Icelandic, English, German, French, Russian and Indonesian.
